Shelby is one of the greatest photographers you will ever hire. It snowed on my wedding day and when I say snowed, I mean FULL BLOWN BLIZZARD and she handled everything like a total champ! She made sure I got all of the photos I wanted, kept us on track, and made sure we didn't get frost bite... We also got married in NYC in a new location for Shelby and she captured everything beautifully! She made sure to look at the location and be prepared. I cannot recommend her enough!! She takes the time to understand what you are looking for as a couple. My husband and I do not consider ourselves photogenic at all – yet our pictures are simply flawless. After our engagement session my now-husband immediately said to me, “how did you find her?!” He was so impressed by her energy and ability to make us feel SO comfortable during the shoot. Leading up to the wedding, Shelby was in constant communication. Her preparation and planning were evident. I was so excited to see Shelby when she arrived in the hotel room where my bridal party was getting ready. She honestly made me feel at ease – and I never once questioned how my photos would turn out. It honestly felt like she was one of my bridesmaids, constantly offering to do things that are truly above and beyond a photographer’s responsibilities. This is just how Shelby is – a genuine and kind soul, and her photography partner, Kim, possesses these qualities just as much. "Shelby was the legit best photographer I could have ever asked for on our wedding day. Her and Kim were an absolute dream to work. Not only is Shelby professional, genuine and just an overall awesome person, the pictures are literally out of this world. Not to mention, she sent me a few pictures the night of the wedding and then a “sneak peek” of about 100 pictures by the Monday after our Saturday wedding. Our wedding happened during Covid, and our plans changed a few times, but she answered emails quickly and was extremely flexible. We postponed our big reception, and she is 110% that vendor that I did not want to have to change. Her work, professionalism, and overall personality makes her the BEST wedding photographer!
