COVID-19 FAQ for 2020/2021 Clients
I am simultaneously happy that you're reaching out and bummed that we're in this situation. It's just important that we're in this together :) Below are some frequent questions that people have been asking me. Can I change my date?
As long as I am available, I would be happy to credit any monies that you have paid toward your new date and your remaining payment(s) would be due one month before your new date. There will be an additional 15% fee charged for prime Saturday dates (May-October) for the loss of income. There will be no fee for Friday or off season Saturday weddings. There will be no rescheduling fee for portrait sessions.
What if I need to cancel?
If you have to cancel, you will receive a credit for any monies that you have paid (excluding deposit) that you can apply toward a future event or session. Any future payments will be null and void.
Can I choose to elope instead?
Yes, of course. If you decide to elope without scheduling a new date for your wedding, any monies that you have paid will go toward a new elopement package and you will pay or receive a credit for any remaining fees (if any).
Can I elope and reschedule?
Absolutely! If you decide you want to elope this year AND reschedule your wedding to a new date, a separate elopement package will be required. Your current wedding contract will remain in tact and any remaining payments toward the wedding will be due one month before your new wedding date and an updated contract will be required. In addition, any fees (see above) will be applied if necessary dependent on the new date selected.
What if you are unavailable on our rescheduled date?
If I am unavailable, you will receive a credit for any monies that you have paid (excluding deposit) that you can apply toward a future event or session. Any future payments will be null and void. I can assist you and make recommendations toward a new photographer.
What if I'm unable to make payments due to loss of income from COVID-19?
If you are unable to make upcoming payments due to a financial hardship from COVID-19, I would be happy to work with you to update the payment schedule to whatever works best for you :)
What if I need to reschedule my portrait session?
I will try to keep your original date subject to state/federal laws and regulations, however your safety is my first priority. I am always happy to reschedule to a future weekday with no rescheduling fee required.
